why it matters?
by reducing single-use cups, Killarney people want to protect their natural environment and Killarney National Park.
did you know that we use over 200 million single-use coffee cups in Ireland every year? these cups often can't be recycled or composted due to their plastic lining, and therefore just end up in landfill.
this action saves over 1 million single use cups yearly from ending up in landfill or as litter here in Killarney.
